Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Scroll the Torah (formerly JQuotes), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The service

Scroll the Torah offers daily Jewish wisdom: a feed of quotes, themes and categories, favorites, personal notes, reminders, a daily streak and widgets. Some features are free; others require a Premium subscription, marked as such in the app.

3. The quotes

Quotes come from traditional Jewish texts such as the Torah, the Talmud and Pirkei Avot, and from Jewish thinkers. They are offered for inspiration, not as religious rulings. Every quote has been checked with care, but a mistake in wording, translation or attribution is always possible. If you ever doubt the accuracy of a quote, please tell us at contact@meetirox.eu: we apologize in advance and will correct or remove it quickly. And if you know a quote that deserves a place in the app, we would love to hear about it.

4. Your content

The quotes you create and the notes you write remain yours and stay on your device. You are responsible for what you write and share.

5. Subscriptions

Premium is available as an annual or monthly subscription, at the price shown in the App Store before purchase. The annual plan may include a free trial (usually 3 days, sometimes 7 in a specific offer), and some users may be offered a reduced price for the first year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID settings. Apple handles all payments and refunds.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design and its content are protected. Please do not copy or redistribute them without our written consent. Sharing a quote with the app's share feature is of course welcome.

7. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app. Your rights as a consumer under mandatory law are not affected.

8. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and law

We may update these Terms; the date above shows the current version. These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith, then brought before the competent French courts if needed.
